At the Anime Boston Final Fantasy gathering this year someone came up to me dressed as I think someone from FFVII (when I was in Garnet) and went, “…. are you from a Final Fantasy?”

At Matsuri, everyone kept asking me who I was. Gate 7 has a very small following sadly.

But I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing! If I don’t know what series someone’s reeeeeally amazing costume is from, I’ll ask them so I can find out and maybe learn more about the series! I’ve started watching many a series due to amazing cosplay, let me tell you. So when somebody asks me “what are you from,” I only hope it’s because they like my costume enough to learn more about the character/show I’m from! Spreading the loooooove ~ :3

Hmmm let me think… :p If you’ve followed me for longer than about 5 minutes you’ve probably have figured out that Miki is my girl!! xD I tend to gravitate towards the blondies when picking my fave characters, but Miki is probably more like me than I’d like to admit. I find her quirks hilarious and adorable and I can’t help but relate to her (My husband confirms that Miki basically IS my 15-year-old self… I like to think I’ve matured a little since then, but. ^^;;). I also cosplay her as a part of Angel Heart’s idolm@ster dance troupe, and I have a blast BEING her… she’s my fave character to cosplay by far, I basically just get to be the little idol diva that I wish I could be irl, and I smile and pose hang on my honey and soak in the lights and cameras and feed off that energy just like Miki does… am I sparkling?! <3 <3 I just luff her.
